جامعه جهانی حاضر نیست به مشروعیتبخشی به رژیمی که با شکنجه، سرکوب و قتل خود را حفظ میکند
بهعنوان یک فرد ایرانی که سالها شاهد سرکوب، خشونت و بیاعتنایی کامل حکومت جمهوری اسلامی به حقوق مردم بودهام، تصمیم اخیر روبرتا متسولا، رئیس پارلمان اروپا، برای ممنوعیت ورود تمامی دیپلماتها و نمایندگان جمهوری اسلامی به ساختمانهای پارلمان اروپا را یک گام ضروری و درست میدانم. وقتی او میگوید «شرایط نمیتواند مانند قبل ادامه یابد» و تأکید میکند که این نهاد حاضر نیست به مشروعیتبخشی به رژیمی که با شکنجه، سرکوب و قتل خود را حفظ میکند کمک کند، این دقیقاً همان حقیقتی است که مردم ایران سالهاست فریاد میزنند.از نگاه من، زمان آن رسیده که جامعهی جهانی نیز همین مسیر را دنبال کند. ادامهی روابط دیپلماتیک، اقتصادی و سیاسی با جمهوری اسلامی، در حالی که مردم ایران برای ابتداییترین حقوق انسانی خود هزینههای سنگین میدهند، چیزی جز تقویت ساختاری نیست که بر پایهی خشونت و سرکوب بنا شده است.من صریح و روشن درخواست میکنم: تمامی دولتها و نهادهای بینالمللی باید روابط رسمی خود با جمهوری اسلامی را قطع کنند و هرگونه مشروعیتبخشی از طریق مذاکره را متوقف سازند. مذاکره با حکومتی که بهجای پاسخگویی، زندان و گلوله ارائه میدهد، نه تنها کمکی به مردم ایران نمیکند، بلکه به بقای همان ساختاری کمک میکند که مردم علیه آن ایستادهاند.مشروعیت از مردم میآید، نه از میزهای مذاکره. امروز بیش از هر زمان دیگری، جامعهی جهانی باید در کنار مردم ایران بایستد، نه در کنار حکومتی که با سرکوب و خشونت بر سر قدرت مانده است.
As an Iranian who has witnessed years of repression, violence, and the systematic denial of basic rights by the Islamic Republic, I strongly welcome the recent decision by Roberta Metsola, President of the European Parliament, to ban all diplomats and representatives of the Islamic Republic from entering the Parliament’s buildings. When she says that “things cannot continue as before” and emphasizes that the institution will not contribute to legitimizing a regime that survives through “torture, repression, and murder,” she is expressing exactly what the people of Iran have been saying for years.From my perspective, the time has come for the international community to take the same stance. Maintaining diplomatic, economic, and political relations with the Islamic Republic—while the people of Iran pay a heavy price for demanding their most basic human rights—only strengthens a structure built on violence and oppression.I am calling clearly and firmly for all governments and international institutions to cut their official ties with the Islamic Republic and end any form of legitimization through negotiation. Negotiating with a government that responds to its people with prisons and bullets does not help Iranians; it only prolongs the survival of the very system they are resisting.Legitimacy comes from the people, not from negotiation tables. Today, more than ever, the international community must stand with the people of Iran—not with a regime that clings to power through brutality.
Som en iranier som i åratal har bevittnat förtryck, våld och total ignorans mot grundläggande mänskliga rättigheter från den islamiska republikens sida, välkomnar jag starkt beslutet av Roberta Metsola, Europaparlamentets talman, att förbjuda alla diplomater och representanter för den islamiska republiken att komma in i parlamentets byggnader. När hon säger att ”situationen kan inte fortsätta som tidigare” och betonar att parlamentet inte kommer att bidra till att legitimera ett system som upprätthålls genom ”tortyr, förtryck och mord”, uttrycker hon precis det som Irans folk har ropat i många år.Enligt min uppfattning är det nu dags för det internationella samfundet att ta samma tydliga ställning. Att fortsätta diplomatiska, ekonomiska och politiska relationer med den islamiska republiken – samtidigt som Irans befolkning betalar ett högt pris för sina mest grundläggande rättigheter – innebär bara att man stärker en struktur som bygger på våld och förtryck.Jag uppmanar därför alla regeringar och internationella institutioner att avsluta sina officiella relationer med den islamiska republiken och stoppa all form av legitimering genom förhandlingar. Att förhandla med en regim som möter sitt eget folk med fängelse och kulor hjälper inte iranierna – det förlänger bara livslängden för det system som folket kämpar emot.Legitimitet kommer från folket, inte från förhandlingsbord. Nu mer än någonsin måste det internationella samfundet stå på Irans folks sida – inte på en regims sida som håller sig kvar vid makten genom brutalitet.
